Mini me

If anyone spends much time with me they will realize that I always try to find the positive no matter the situation.

I enjoy kidding around and laughing.

That means that I should have a sense of humor. My sense of humor is warped, unique, an acquired taste. Not just anyone can enjoy my sense of humor. I would be willing to bet that some people get annoyed with my sense of humor.

I think dad jokes are hilarious. I can laugh at almost anything. Even if most people think it’s lame.

I am not going to share a joke.

As Crystal gets older it becomes even more crystal clear that she has acquired my sense of humor. Her jokes sound like my mine.

As gratifying as it is to hear her jokes, it reminds me that the influence we have over our children is huge.

The more time they spend with us the more like us they could be.

This means that we need to be even more aware of every word, action, and attitude that we are passing on.

We can’t complain when they do exactly what we have taught them. They have become a miniature version of ourself.

We need to keep our eyes open and notice those things that they do that annoy us. It’s very likely they’re just acting like me.

They’re a chip off the old block.
