Who, what, when, where, why, and how. Those are the famous words that are used to ask most questions.

I know that I have not written in a long time and maybe some of you would like to start a conversation with just one of those words.

Well, let me start the conversation.

When- We moved/ transitioned to the US just over two years ago. We came on a trip just like most summers and it seemed normal, until it didn’t anymore.

Why- Returning to “our neck of the woods” in Latin America would be placed on hold. At least for the immediate future. There were many factors in the decision, some within our control and others out of our hands.

Who- Myself, Crystal, Dixie, and Sparkle

What- We are continuing to do life one day at a time. I am still clueless many days, but I know that we are in this together. I work with a local church in their services in Spanish and also global missions and the girls are studying and becoming independent women, or girls, or whatever term they choose today.

Where- Crystal spent her freshman year at college in Texas while the other two and I have been in Pa. Now we are all together in PA, have a new member, and another on the way. I will be writing more about this in the near future.

How- Honestly, I look back and am surprised at the how. I can only say that thank God I was willing to fight, stuck it out, and came out the other side.
